Cami and I wanted to do a Great Norwex Experiment. What happens if you clean up raw chicken with a regular micro fiber cloth with just water? You can clean any surface (except items with anti-glare coating on it) with a Norwex Enviro Cloth using just water. The siver based agent embedded in every fiber of this cloth inactivates bacteria in the cloth...but does it really work? Well, we can happily and most definitely say YES IT DOES!!! Cleaning with a Norwex Enviro Cloth with just water is far more superior then cleaning with a regular micro fiber cloth. The results are in the pictures below. Purple means that the test still detects protein and if it is green then it is clean (green clean :). Bacteria feeds and grow off of the protein left on surfaces, so if it is on a surface the bacteria will grow and as you wipe your counters with a regular cloth it will spread that bacteria around. The Norwex Enviro Cloth keeps the matter in the cloth, inactiviates the bacteria with the silver based agent that is in every fiber of the cloth and your surface is left clean so when you wipe it again there is nothing left on the surface or the cloth to spread around. Too Cool!! Happy Cleaning!!
I am in love with this product! I got soap scum and hard water off with Norwex that CLR didn't take off. I feel so much better about using chemical free products. I LOVE that I can give my kids a cloth and I know they are safe and things will get clean. I am really happy with everything I have used from Norwex and just really excited about it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNorwex has changed the way I feel about cleaning! I used to dread the whole affair, really. Pulling out all the cleaners, the different rags, the paper towels. In fact, that is something I just realized about Norwex - I have stopped using tons of tons of paper towels! Just one more way Norwex is saving me money and helping to save the environment all at the same time! Now when I need to clean I grab a couple of rags and off I go! I'm amazed how clean and shiny everything is - just using a cloth and water!! Amazing! I think my favorite product is probably the window cloth. I've always been horrible at cleaning mirrors and windows. Streaks everywhere. Now I'm a pro with one wipe of a cloth. I would have never believed it until I tried it. This little cloth is a miracle worker. My windows and mirrors look fabulous in half the time. Thanks Norwex for putting an end to streaked windows!! And thanks Norwex for ridding my house of chemicals and germs. I'm a huge fan!
ReplyDeleteI have slowly been trying to make a difference in our environment by supporting local farms when buying food, recycling, using reusable containers verses plastic baggies and using cleaning products that are environmentally friendly over the past few years. To be honest, many environmentally safe products aren't so wonderful. Some are good, but many just aren't worth the extra money you pay for that "environmentally safe" label. Then...along came NORWEX!!!!!! With Norwex, even though it may seem like it's expensive at first, it saves you soooo much money in the long run, and unlike so many other products out there....it actually works! It's a WIN, WIN!!! I was skeptical at first. It sounded marvelous, but I had to see for myself. I was completely stunned at how fast I could mop my wood floors and how amazing they looked! The mop has changed my love/hate relationship with my wood floors. I absolutely love the look of wood floors, but hated cleaning them. Gone are the days of cringing when the dog comes in the back door and tramps dirt all over from outside, or, when the kids run in and out from the pool, making those dreaded dirty feet marks everywhere! Now, with my trusty norwex mop, I know it will take me literally 5 minutes to clean it all up! As the mother of 5 energetic children and a playful dog...the norwex mop has been the best gift I have ever given myself! The antibac cloths have made my life much easier as well. I know when I clean with them, all the germs are gone, I can clean in lightning fast speed, everything shines and sparkles...and all with just water! I am spending less money on products over the long run, I can clean my home in less then half the time it took before, everything I clean looks and feels incredible and I can feel great about not having to use any of those harsh chemicals! Norwex is brilliant....three cheers for Norwex!
